To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
The goal here is to always have batallion online, and to always be swinging in with three or more creatures every turn. The most expensive card in here is Boros Charm, because it's the most value per dollar and value per mana card you'll find in the guild, end of story. This sideboard was built assuming you're taking this to a venue where you'll have to face (if not the full lists, then at least the budget variants of) the more common modern archetypes. Deflecting Palm comes in against burn, infect, and bogles. Return to the Ranks comes in against anything with board wipes. Skullcrack comes in against soul sisters and other lifegain variants. Lapse of Certainty comes in against combo, tron builds, or really anything that you might be able to completely gut by countering a single spell (which nobody prepares for against Boros). Tormod's Crypt comes in against graveyard shenanigans. Stone Rain comes in against tron builds and devotion decks that rely on Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. If you like this deck and want to upgrade it with modern staples that you can then put into future more top tier builds, the cards that were hardest not to include were the following: Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix, and Path to Exile. Honorable mentions that work very well in similar decks to this one, but aren't as universal as those previous three, are Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Hero of Bladehold. Potential planeswalker includes would really only be whatever version of Elspeth you have, but probably Elspeth Knight Errant is the best. Obviously, shocks and fetches are also an inevitable upgrade to literally every multicolor deck in the format.
