Grixis Emerge - Top5 Standard Decks 12 October 2016 (Standard)

This build is probably the most interesting one we've seen so far because it features Minister of Inquiries as the enabler.
The aim is to mill as many cards as you can and hope to find Haunted Dead and Scrapheap Scrounger to bring back free Prized Amalgams. Cathartic Reunion is a huge upgrade compared to Tormenting Voice because you will want to discard these creatures if you ever draw them.

And of course, there is Smuggler's Copter as the discard outlet. I hope everyone is not getting bored with this card because you'll see it around quite often.
Most importantly, cheating free Prized Amalgam into play also helps you cast your Wretched Gryff and Elder Deep-Fiend more quickly, which also helps you to trigger Kozilek's Return! This combination will likely be a huge part of Standard until the Battle for Zendikar block rotates out.

There is a lot of unfair plays that can happen and Grixis Emerge looks like it is the kind of deck that does decently well against midrange and control decks. Lightning Axe in the sideboard will help out against an aggro field and I believe that this is one of the strongest decks in the format at the moment.
