75%-oriented multiplayer Lazav EDH deck that uses a Lazav, smaller creatures that are buffed or grow, and stolen creatures to beat down opponents. A Voltron package gives us ways to buff our own or stolen creatures, and the evasion and protection in this package also helps abilities on the small creatures.

The deck includes a significant use of mill to multiple effects, including find graveyard creatures to copy, for various combos, and a general enabler. It generally focuses on mill-all effects instead of "mill target player effects". There are a few combos in the deck (e.g. mindcrank + duskmage or bloodmage ascension). It also includes ways to tutor for cards, including combos, but it's generally trying to be more in the vein of a "fair" deck than a combo deck.

The maybeboard are upgrade cards of varying costs.

  • The untap lands, manland, and reanimate are the the priority upgrades as the deck is trying to go relatively quickly with a solid two-color mana base, and the taplands are a little slow. Academy Ruins is also helpful to pull key equipment out of the graveyard, but lower priority.
  • Two more swords can replace trephanation blade and bonehoard. This is to some degree a matter of taste, but they are generally upgrades that also provide protection from board wipes and some blockers.
  • Reanimate is potential replacement for Necromancy or another copy piece.
  • The vampiric tutor is a faster way to hit some of the combo/synergies in the deck, but it's not the deck's main strategy and the deck already has other tutors (as transmute) so this isn't that important.
