Daxos is like, a very cool person in a fun color combination. I found that straight enchantments-matter and value had me running some seriously questionable cards even after scrupulous edits. Unfortunately, even with a great commander like Daxos, there is no shell that will simply have you play "midrange" of commander with near-solely enchantments and be non-battlecruiser viable. So, we turn to stax effects to support our enchantments-matter.
The way that we break parity on our own stax is having an activated ability in the command zone that creates bodies. This is why we don't run Suppression Field, (as much as I love that card.) We also have a recursion subtheme to break parity on our discard effects and for opposing boardwipes (this is why we don't run Rest in Peace.)
Our ramp is centered at 2CMC rocks that ramp for one. Of course we run Wayfarer's Bauble and Sol Ring as well. We run 2CMC rocks, because we don't need to ramp that much in this deck. For example, we have a maximum CMC of 6 across 5 cards. And since our average CMC is 3, we only need 6 mana to double spell. If we play one rock, we can double spell by turn 5, after having played Daxos to start accumulating experience counters. Additionally, we play as many 1 mana enchantments as possible, so that if we ramp on 2, we can play Daxos and one of these 1 cmc enchantments to begin to accumulate experience counters. If we hit all our land drops in this sequence, we follow up on turn 5 with a 3 cmc stax piece/advantage enchantment and create a 2/2 body, giving us fantastic board presence for such a slow color combination.
