Common Matchup's

Tron - Add two Damping Sphere, two Raise the Alarm's, and two Umoored Ego. Removing Blasting Station, Phyrexian Unlife, & 2 Solemnity's. In this match up you will be going for the beatdown kill, no combo just constantly attacking and disrupting hoping to kill them before the late game.

Jund - Has alot of kill spells, so switch to Polymorph due to common usage of Abrupt Decay, & Assassin Trophy. Other than that add in Supreme Verdict.

Death Shadow - Same as Jund

Wilderness Reclamation - Add in Damping Sphere and Unmoored Ego over Path to Exile & Thing in the Ice

Ad Nauseem - Same as Wilderness Reclamation, play defensive. You win in the long run.

Phoneix - Add in Damping Sphere, Unmoored Ego, and Supreme Verdict over Secure the Wastes and a Condescend. They don't usually have a way of dealing with the unlife lock in either there main or sideboard

Mill - Switch to Polymorph and win due to the Eldrazi Titan's graveyard triggers

Went 5W-3L on day one of a grand prix. Lost due to bad luck against Tron(0-2), Made a crucial mistake against Mono-black discard(1-2) and lost due to unfamiliarity with Wilderness Reclamation(0-2). But I did beat Grixis Death Shadow(2-0), Jund(2-1), Mono-Red Phoenix(2-1), Eldrazi Tron(2-0), & another game against Tron(2-1).

Made a couple changes after that, re-added Search for Azcanta, added two Unmoored Ego to the sideboard, added a Gideon of the Trials, removed two Remand's. I am contemplating adding Lazatop Plating over Raise the Alarm in the sideboard.

2019-01-25

Made some hefty changes to the deck.

  • Replaced 2 Blasting Stations with 2 Viscera Seer's, since if the combo is online I can just scry till I find the Blasting Station
  • Removed the Search for Azcanta's, I was never overly thrilled to draw them. They were nice in the opening hand but where always a letdown later in the game
  • Replaced Surgical Extraction with Extirpate for the Split-Second ability. Which has allowed me to hold priority after casting the last piece of my combo to cast Extirpate, which due to split-second the opponent is then unable to react to and/or counter my combo piece.
= Moved Detention Sphere to the sideboard
  • Added Declaration of Naught to the sideboard
  • Replaced Logic Knot with Mana Leak to make it easier to cast with a three colour land base

2018-09-10

Went 3-4 in a competitive tournament and discovered some weak points in the deck, mostly in graveyard hate and against UW control.

So adding in black for Surgical Extraction, another Search for Azcanta, & Glen Elendra Archmage in the main board, and another Thing in the Ice in the sideboard.

Pre-2018-09-10
The core piece is Solemnity. The lone infinite combo is a Solemnity, Blasting Station and Kitchen Finks. Sac Kitchen Finks with Blasting Station to do 1 damage either to the opponent or a creature. Then Kitchen finks returns to the battlefield from persist and because of Solemnity a -1/-1 counter cant be put on it, so then sac it again with Blasting Station, rinse and repeat.

Solemnity + Phyrexian Unlife, results in you having infinite life. Since you can't gather poison counters from Phyrexian Unlife due to Solemnity.

Solemnity + Thing in the Ice, Thing in the Ice comes down with no counters on it and then you cast a cantrip causing it to flip and become a 7/8 that simultaneously bounces all of your opponents creatures back to hand.

Path to Exile is your standard white removal spell

Serum Visions for card advantage and flipping Thing in the Ice.

Logic Knot for hard countering your opponents spells and for getting some work out of the graveyard

Condescend to early interaction with our opponent and for the scry 2 effect

Detention Sphere for removing pesky nonland permanents

Sideboard:

The sideboard is a transformative for changing the deck from a combo deck to a polymorph deck with Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Ulamog, the infinite gyre as finishers.

It also has two damping sphere to help deal with Tron, storm and other land/spell-slinger intensive decks

And a Supreme Verdict for creature and/or control based decks
