To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Win Conditions:
Going Wide -- Generate lots of saproling tokens with Tana, the Bloodsower and other cards. Use these to trigger Purphoros, God of the Forge and other similar effects. Or power them up with cards like Wild Beastmaster or Cathars' Crusade. Or just devour all of the tokens with Mycoloth or Preyseizer Dragon.
Going Tall -- Use Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder to give double strike and lifelink to your large creatures such as Kalonian Hydra or Rubblehulk. Laugh as you gain massive amounts of life as your enemies crumble.
Key Combos:
Tana, the Bloodsower + Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder + Mantle of Leadership = Double Tana's effectiveness. If Tana has double strike, then after she hits with first strike damage she triples her power. This combo can easily take opponents by surprise as Mantle of Leadership has flash.
Fires of Yavimaya + Breath of Fury = potentially infinite combat phases. If you generate tokens from Tana, the Bloodsower or Pollenbright Wings during combat, these tokens can attack during extra combat phases if they have haste, so that you can quickly overwhelm the blockers controlled by opposing players.
Nacatl War-Pride + Anything = totally degenerate combos. Prevent your opponents from blocking your other creatures; trigger Warstorm Surge, Cathars' Crusade, or Mantle of Leadership multiple times; sacrifice the tokens to Phyrexian Altar or creatures with Devour such as Preyseizer Dragon during your Post-Combat Main Phase. There is basically nothing that this creature cannot do.
The main weakness of this deck is its lack of card draw, so make sure that you don't over-commit to a board state unless you're certain you'll win. One board wipe and you might be playing off the top of your deck for a while.
