This is my 4th Commander deck, inspired by my favorite Ravnican guild: the Azorius Senate.
The Azorius are all about control, and white-blue decks sure know about controlling stuff. Various counterspells help me in that sense, like Render Silent, Ojutai's Command and Dovin's Veto. Controlling the board involves cleaning it from time to time, Promise of Loyalty and Supreme Verdict get it done. And the enchantments in this deck are devoted to shut up creatures in-board with Faith's Fetters, Arrest and Lawmage's Binding; to exile threats with Banishing Light and Prison Realm; and to prevent our opponents's attacks with Propaganda, Ghostly Prison and Vow of Duty.
As for creatures, the majority of them have a Stax feature, in order to stop my opponents from doing things. Nullifying EtBs (Hushbringer), limiting searching options (Aven Mindcensor) and raising costs (Windborn Muse, Baird, Steward of Argive) are some of the things my permanents aim to do.
Lavinia, Azorius Renegade is a very cheap commander, and her abilities are useful, specially the second one. Knowledge Pool and Omen Machine, though they give our opponents free spells, they are easily countered by the ex-Azorius arrester. By using these cards, this deck aims to be a very annoying one and fun to play with at the same time.
