To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Remember my girlfriend's nephew, who I taught Magic to? Probably not. Well, we've played enough Commander for him to want a second deck, and I'd be happy to provide it for him.
It was difficult for him to decide what he'd be looking for in a second Commander deck, but finally he made up his mind. Much control and much aggro. In one word, a Midrange deck. But led by who? Midrange builds are found in all colors, but he's very fond of Red and has developed a liking towards Blue. Gotcha.
An Izzet Midrange deck, commanded by one of his favorite dragons, Niv-Mizzet, Parun. This is a thing now.
The deck I'm posting here is build only with cards available at my local game store, so it will see a lot of updates in the future. But for now, spells that care about carddraw (Opt, Tormenting Voice, Thrill of Possibility, Chemister's Insight) are a must for Niv-Mizzet's pinging ability, and a lot of sorceries and instants that care about board controlling (Blink of an Eye, Ral's Outburst, Beacon Bolt, Mizzium Mortars).
And as for creatures, we have a little of everything: caring about instant and sorcery spells (Goblin Electromancer, Spellheart Chimera, Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Sky Summoner), with Prowess (Niblis of Frost, Shipwreck Dowser, Stormchaser Mage, Bloodwater Entity), with carddraw (Body of Knowledge, Crackling Drake, Mercurial Chemister, Nivix Guildmage) and creatures that care about carddraw (The Locust God, Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind).
I hope that this build will get my girlfriend's nephew enthusiastic, and expand his Magic experience a little bit. The deck should contain the basic pieces for a balanced and optimized gameplay. But as I said earlier, it will see many changes before its final form.
