To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is my 12th Commander deck. Like other decks I've built, I decided to transform all Modern and Legacy decks I own as possible into EDH decks. This particular build is the combination of melding my Gravespawn Storm and Born from the Grave decks, plus some cards from my Underworld Breeding deck, and this is the result.
As a present given to me by my twin brother, it was an obvious choice of having Phage the Untouchable as the commander of this deck. This resulted in building my first mono-colored Commander deck, and I can't wait to see it in action.
So, the main idea is having Phage command tons and tons of zombies that I had lying around the 3 decks I mentioned earlier. I think this makes the deck very aggro, but its mana curve is heavy, so has very midrange traits as well. Anyway, zombies and filling the graveyard with zombies is the main objective, as we have many ways to return them to play, like Dread Return, Reanimate, Cauldron's Gift and Victimize. Gravestorm acts like a "golden pig", as we have some spells and abilities that removes our opponent's graveyards (Cremate, Fade from Memory, Withered Wretch), which allows us to draw an extra card per turn if we are lucky enough.
But Phage kills us when cast from the command zone, how we prevent the game loss? The main ways I handle right now are Platinum Angel to avoid death, and Campfire and Netherborn Altar to put our commander in our hand. And then the untouchable is in the board, Swiftfoot Boots allows her to attack the same turn she enters the battlefield, and Rogue's Passage ensures that combat damage is dealt, taking our opponents out of the game.
Could be fun playing this particular deck. Remains to be tested, but I think I can get over the difficulties that building a Phage deck mean.
