To make this Commander build, I decided to meld my Tyrant of Machines Casual deck with some cards that I was gathering to turn that deck from an Izzet one into a Grixis one. Along with plenty of cards from the Brothers' War Commander decks, this is the result.
Although Mishra, Eminent One is portrayed as the commander, his presence is not required to achieve this deck's goals. Following my former Casual deck's win-con, having Laboratory Maniac in play, casting Enter the Infinite and leaving Bonfire of the Damned on top is one of the objectives of this very particular build. But that deck also heavily relied on Hellkite Tyrant to try to end the game quickly, and some spells like Argent Mutation and Liquimetal Torque help us turn non-artifact permanents into things we can steal.
With the addition of black, more control was introduced. Unlicensed Disintegration is very annoying in this deck, and Tezzeret, Master of Metal's ultimate also helps us confiscate the desired artifacts to ensure the Tyrant's alternative win condition. Besides, Revel in Riches can help us win the game rather fast specially when Storm the Vault hits the board, and transforming it helps us generate enough mana to cast the very expensive Enter the Infinite.
Digging into our deck is key to find all these alt win-con pieces. Spells like Baleful Strix, Ichor Wellspring, Preordain, Faithless Looting, Thirst for Knowledge and Expressive Iteration do this for us. By doing this we can assure victory by either of the conditions listed above. The main idea is: if we can't win one way, we'll do it another way, and another way, and so forth.
