To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is the 5th deck I build for my girlfriend's nephew, and came as a result of him loving, on one hand, playing with my Syr Gwyn deck and, on the other one, playing the Armed and Dangerous deck in MTG Arena. It became obvious for me to build an Equipment deck for him.
As for available commanders, it was him who suggested Bruenor Battlehammer, and I sticked to it. This particular build relies heavy on the Arm for Battle pre-constructed deck from Commander Legends, and tweaked it a little to favor Bruenor's abilities. By doing this, Wyleth, Soul of Steel assumed a role of alternate commander.
Going through what the deck wants to do, it shouldn't be a surprise that an Aggro strategy is what drives this deck, summoning as many creatures as possible and equipping them with the arsenal it carries. The Warrior tribal theme is present, as Kargan Warleader pumps the team when available. In general, Zendikar Rising provided quite the cards to support the deck's warriors, as Resolute Strike, Kargan Intimidator and Akiri, Fearless Voyager enter the deck to help the deck's Equipment theme be more solid.
The pre-con is pretty balanced but lacks non-conditional card-draw, so I added cards like Thrilling Discovery and Thrill of Possibility to help us dig in the deck to find the Equipments we want, specially the dangerous ones Blackblade Reforged and Argentum Armor. On the other hand, the pre-con ramp pieces stayed a bit, as Oreskos Explorer and Kor Cartographer help us having more lands in play, something that Boros finds very difficult to achieve.
Wrapping up, this Warrior tribal Equipment-themed deck wants to go aggro, drop some steel on the battlefield and use Bruenor's cheaping ability to quickly equip our team and run over our opponents. But the deck is very young still, so there's room for improvement like more powerful Equipments, more efficient creatures and so forth. In the meanwhile, I am content with the current result, and can't wait to test it.
