This deck of mine is many years old, and came to be because of having the thrill to test how would it be to control many legendary creatures in play. 2 decks were born of this thought, and this is one of them.
The thrill of summoning a horde of mighty angels and having them at our command was something my brother and I always wanted to experience in Magic, and this non-competitive deck is the manifestation of this desire.
This deck always relied in Belbe's Portal to drop most of the angels, while using Awe Strike to prevent damage and Rest for the Weary and Revitalize to gain life. Wall of Essence serves this purpose too. And while spells like Boros Charm keep threats in check, the mana is built up to cast our winged avengers.
After we purchased From the Vault: Angels... not much changed, save for having more variety of angels to play and the glorious chance to see in action powerful beauties like Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Akroma, Angel of Fury.
