Ghoulcallers and necromancers live everywhere. They can be your neighbor, your daughter, even your priest. They exploit cemetries and graveyards, unbury corpses and practice dark magic for their own pleasure.

Geists and spirits cries in the darkness of their sleep, tormenting the living. Coastal pirates burgle the little towns of fishermen, intercepting merchant ships and discouraging business. Stitchers apprentices recycle every form of life they could find for their masters' laboratories, and carcasses lie spread all over the plane.

It looks like no body can find peace here.

Liliana, the Last Hope has established her mansion in the countryside of Innistrad, keeping the dark powers of the Chain Veil safe from the world. In the meantime the talented necromancers Gisa and Geralf, eventually reunited, struggle to perfect their macabre skills.
