AKH Temur Tower (Standard)

This is my updated version of the well known temur tower deck.

The gameplan is the same, but with this deck you have a lot more card draw mechanics with the cycles from Censor and Sheltered Thicket and also more card draw from the blue God Kefnet the Mindful and Pull from Tomorrow.

Since i don't know how the meta will develope i can't say which counterspells are best right now. If Graveyard decks become popular i would suggest Void Shatter over Disallow(also dependend which matchups you face in general).

Because i couldn't playtest this deck yet, i can not say if the landbase is good or not. For now it is pretty solid, so you don't miss a landdrop. But it is definitly possible to cut 2 lands(probably 1 Sheletered Thicket and 1 Island) and put 2 Shock/Magma Spray instead.

I also put a lot of faith in Censor, since this card can easily destroy on curve plays and with the Cycle this card has no drawback at all(at least in theory). Kefnet is also a strong addition, because, as a control deck, you will not have much problems to keep 7 cards with all the card draw mechanics in the deck. And having a 5/5 indestructible flyer ist not that bad. Because Kefnet is a huge thread i did cut a Gearhulk and a Lumbering Falls.

Manglehorn is a good sideboard card against any artifact based decks and it also disrupts the saheeli combo, the cub and the hydra are good vs midrange and control decks, but not that good vs aggro. Dragonmaster Outcast is also a good card vs control matchups. Magma Spray is great agains creatures like Scrapheap Scrounger and negate good vs vehicles and planeswalker based decks
