I was going to make another 1$ Commander list sometime in the future, but when I noticed that this gem of a commander was only $0.24 in TCGPlayer listing I knew I had to make one now. Honestly I am amazed that Liesa, Shroud of Dusk is so cheap. This commander is a strategy and win condition all by herself. If you have never played against a Liesa deck you'll know. That 2 life lost per spell may feel insignificant on paper, but when you combine that with the inevitability brought by the fact that she'll come back each turn if you destroy it (If you consider that phyrexian mana is top tier ability and her commander tax can be paid with phyrexian mana at half price you'll see where this is going) and all you'll actually do if you do destroy it is allow your opponents to play without the life loss effect as she'll be back by the time it is your turn again makes her top tier commander in any casual table. And when she does stay on the table her flying and lifelink pays back the life you'll lose for spells you cast. All you really need in addition is a way to ensure that you can gain some life outside of her lifelink as your life actually is mana.
I added in some basic card draw, and removal with some decent creatures to back it up. Unlike with the first Araumi of the Dead Tide (https://deckstats.net/decks/82368/2051708-1-commander), this time I was able to add in few mana rocks to help Liesa come down one turn early and Sisay's Ring to keep her going in the next turns in case she is taken out. Again as with the first one, this is hardly the most efficient iteration of the deck, but should be one you can take out against most preconstructed decks and not feel totally ashamed while spending no more than $1 all non-land cards included. With recent powerful sets like Commander Legends and Modern Horizons 2 you can find more and more really decent cards for $0.01 like Late to Dinner, Glorious Enforcer, Radiant, Serra Archangel, Sisay's Ring and Feast of Succession. Sure they are nothing like Reanimate, Archangel of Thune, Lyra Dawnbringer, Sol Ring or Damnation, but they make it possible to at least play the game with less optimized decks and I'm all for it.
