Why Spike should have been banned (EDH / Commander)

For most Magic software, including Magic Workstation and Cockatrice:

To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!

Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Now that un-sets are legal in Commander until mid-January (Thank goodness it will end), we are seeing a lot of wild and weird decks. Fortunately, there are a few un-cards that are still banned. Unfortunately, Spike, Tournament Grinder is not one of them. This was a mistake because now every card that was banned can be used. Stupid. Because not only can you force someone to get a drink for you (Ashnod's Coupon), or play a game under the table (Enter the Dungeon), every card that is on the commander ban-list can suddenly be used.

Just so we're all on the same page, the cards you pick with Spike do not have to be in your color identity, because they are not a part of your deck. And it's any card that was once banned, not necessarily currently banned. If this is confusing for you... welcome to un-cards.

This deck will win on turn 2 (turn 1 if you're lucky). So long as you can get Spike out, you will win. Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, and Crystal Vein will allow you to do this on turn one. Then, just used the Flash Hulk combo (explained below). Congratulations, you just won on turn two by spending $80.

Flash Hulk:
Use Spike's ability to grab two Lotus Petals, Flash, and Protean Hulk. Cast Flash using the mana from the Lotus Petals, sacrifice Hulk, and get Viscera Seer and Body Snatcher. In response to body snatcher entering, Sacrifice it to Viscera Seer, getting Protean Hulk back. Then sacrifice hulk to get Mikaeus, The Unhallowed and Walking Ballista. Walking Ballista dies, and then Mikaeus will bring it back with a +1/+1 counter. Remove it to deal damage, and then sacrifice it to Viscera Seer (Walking Ballista comes back). Repeat until all your opponent's are dead.
