This deck relies fairly heavily on using cards that return creatures to the battlefield if they are exiled or by exiling them to synergize with the unearth mechanic. Ephemerate and First-Sphere Gargantua are a dream team, drawing you cards and swinging for crazy damage all for 4 mana, but Rotting Rats is just as strong, allowing you to discard 3-4 cards out of your opponents (and yours too which you like pretty much all the time) hand to set up a Breath of Life or rat lock your opponent on their draw step.

"But SocksofGranduer, why aren't you running exhume?"
My main goal for using breath of life over exhume is that I don't really want to be reanimating anything in the early turns. I want to be playing out removal and hand disruption. So I don't necessarily need my reanimation spell to be cheap. I want it to come down once I've cleared the way and baited out as much removal as possible. I want my opponent to feel the deep, true fear that only comes from top decking (while being forced to discard on their draw step) for an answer to a reanimated ulamog's crusher.

Another important benefit is that I don't have to focus on gy hate in the mainboard to clear the way for my exhume. Since I'll be dumping my opponent's hand into their graveyard, Breath of life goes a long way in just having fewer asks to do it's job well in g1.

Most creatures here are oriented around generating pure value instead of running a 1 creature wins all kind of style, focusing on building value and having premium removal to win the game while attacking your opponents hand and graveyard.

Has anyone pointed out that kaya's ghostform beats out journey to nowhere? Because that's a thing. Suck it Journey to Nowhere.

Also the sideboard is probably trash. idk maybe it isn't who cares build a better one or something.
