About this deck:
Elspeth has some great abilities here that really lend themselves to building a themed deck. Her +2 gives you life for having lots of creatures, her -2 creates three 1/1 Soldier tokens, and her -5 destroys everything else except lands and tokens. The +2 is nice, of course, but I've focused on the creating lots of tokens with the intention of unleashing a one-sided boardwipe and charging to victory.
Myrsmith and Kemba, Kha Regent were my starting points here, as both allow an equipment-heavy deck to pump out a lot of tokens quite early on. On the equipment side of things, I've gone for Accorder's Shield (because I like free stuff), Darksteel Axe (because it will survive the boardwipe) and Infiltration Lens (because it puts your opponent in the unenviable position of choosing between letting you hit them or letting you draw cards). Obviously it's great if you can use the Myrsmith to create tokens as you cast these artifacts, and then attach them to Kemba, Kha Regent to get extra tokens in your next upkeep. Brass Squire is here to help with that, letting you dodge the equip cost every now and then.
The rest of the deck is filled with thematic cards – Soul Parry and Remember the Fallen both feature Elspeth and Pristine Talisman quotes her – and utility cards. Arrest is always useful, Glint Hawk gives you a flying creature (and can give you more opportunities to trigger Myrsmith's ability) and Razor Hippogriff gives you another creature and can retrieve an artifact for you.
I didn't include any Phrexian themed cards in the deck. I'm only aware of one Elspeth-themed card missing from this deck, and that's Unwinding Clock – with the amount of vigilance the deck already has, and the lack of other tappable artifacts apart from Pristine Talisman, it seemed better to save the Rare slot for another Kemba, Kha Regent.
