As Foretold is one of my favorite cards. It plus Ancestral Vision provides a great draw engine.

Search for Azcanta is great for early filtering, and once it flips it almost always finds something relevant in this deck with few creatures. I tried this deck with one copy for a long time, but two means it gets out early twice as much.

4 Time Warps and 4 Temporal Masteries provide the extra turns. If one has Miracle spells, one has to have Jace, the Mind Sculptor. 2 copies is enough here.

4 opts and 4 mission briefings provide more filtering. I chose Mission Briefing over Snap Caster because flashback cannot be cast with As Foretold. Mission briefing just says "you may cast" and does not specify how. That means As Foretold can be used. Surveil 2 is also useful. In the early game it can help find lands on the opponent's turn, or blow through mana flooding any other time, or find just the right spell to cast from the graveyard.

All of this casting BTW flips Thing In The Ice quickly.

1 copy of Boomerang is here to deal with the biggest thorns for Turns: Thalia and Gaddock Teeg.

Cryptic is awesome, but will be changed out against these guys in game 2.

Elixir of Immortality provides recycling of all those cast spells, especially once the . turns get going.

Speaking of Turns, Nexus of Fate allows this deck to go infinite. All of the filtering, searching, and card draw make this deck shrink extremely quickly, making going off infinitely very likely. However game one with Thing usually prevents this from happening as the opponent is dead before Nexus goes off.

Win Cons: Things in the Ice, Celestial Colonnade. If somehow the opponent dodges these, Turns make it very easy to ultimate Jace. By the time that happens, As Foretold is on the board along with Mikokoro and the Sanitarium. Ancestral Vision plus these legendary lands mill the opponent out very quickly.

This deck works off of top decking, from the graveyard, and normally. It is difficult to stop past turn 5 or 6. The biggest difficulties are against hard control, hand disruption, and extreme aggro. Thing in the Ice is great against all of these.

Sideboard: Against aggro + removal Terminus is sick. All the filtering cards make it easy to set up and wipe the board. Great against Spirits, one of the banes of this deck. Against control this deck just waits until enough mana is available to counter the opponents spells and go off.

The power of this deck is like no other. Miracle Temporal Mastery is a Time Walk in Modern. Time Walk! No decks are allowed to run more than one copy. This deck can potentially cast 4 with proper filtering! This deck, with As Foretold in play, can also cast 4 copies of Ancestral Vision, which, again with As Foretold, are better than Ancestral Recall in that they are free to cast, but are Sorcery speed. Some much power! With Elixir of Immortality, this can be done many times in a game. I average about 6-10 casts of Ancestral per game.

This deck is potentially extremely powerful and a ton of fun to play.
