Tappin' Turns (Or Rip Van Winkle) (Modern)

To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!

(-> Your Settings)

Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Please select the columns you would like to see:

Take turns while the opponent does nothing.

Spend the first few turns getting Howling Mine/Dictate out.

Use Exhaustion and Gigadrowse together to tap down all his stuff, especially after he's tapped most of it.

Start taking turns and tapping down his stuff, while hatching Thing in the Ice.

Keep taking turns and tapping his stuff. Tamiyo is great over consecutive turns!

If the game goes long (rarely) Tamiyo's emblem + Time Warp goes infinite.

Opponent will sleep through the ages, just like Rip Van Winkle, until the nightmare of Awoken Horror going infinite finishes him off.

IF Thing is taken care of somehow (he can't cast much with mana base tapped down can he?) Part the Water Veil is a backup.

This deck is a crazy amount of fun to play, and the Mines + Dictates are very, very forgiving of mulligans and missed land drops.

P.S. I need advice on how to sideboard against control.
