To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
The strategy of the deck is to get as much mana as possible to play Ajani, valiant protector and Nicol Bolas, The Deceiver. I use cards like Cultivator's Caravan, Oasis Ritualist, Pyramid of the Pantheon, and Painted Bluffs to give me mana of any color. I use visage of Bolas, Ajani's Aid, and Diabolic tutor to draw Nicol Bolas, the deceiver and Ajani, Valiant Protector. Once I have Ajani, valiant protector out I use his +2 ability to give creatures, preferably dreamstealer so my opponent has to discard more cards when I deal damage to them, two +1/+1 counters. That boosts my creatures' power up, which makes them a stronger creature and enables Rhonas the indomitable to attack and block. I also have Dagger of the Worthy to help enable Rhonas the indomitable to attack and block. Once I get Nicol Bolas, the deceiver out I use his +3 ability to make my opponents sacrifice a permanent, discard a card, or take 3 damage. I keep using that to get rid of my opponent's control. After I build up enough loyalty counters on him I strike big with his -11 and deal 7 damage to my opponent, while attacking them with my creatures. That also allows me to draw 7 cards, which lets me make seven 1/1 flying and haste insect tokens with the locust god. If one of my planeswalkers die I can use dark intimations to bring them back to my hand. I also have torment of Hailfire as a back up plan if I can't get Bolas out.
Any Criticism is welcome, as long as it is constructive. If you like the deck I would greatly appreciate an upvote!
