Lots of combos / infinites. This is a labor of love that I have been tweaking since the pre-con was released. Trying to balance wins with mean fun, but I'm not a win-at-any-cost player.
I need to figure out which card to remove in exchange for Treasure Mage in the maybeboard. Current non-major-combo candidates for removal are listed below along with justification for their presence in the first place:
Aetherworks Marvel - Look vs. reveal is simply awesome with a free artifact drop in a deck that mills thopters.
Baral's Expertise - Triple bounce plus a free 4 drop.
Daretti, Scrap Savant - His abilities are great, but possibly excessive. Still very attractive though.
Efficient Construction - May be underpowered for its cost, and overkill, but see Summoning Station
Hidden Stockpile - Same as previous, except SCRY is OP and CMC of 2 is as well.
Saheeli's Artistry - Dupes are boss. Especially with Narset Transcendent -2 Ability
Semblance Anvil - High mana curve mitigation. The sac is expensive, but with the right Art Creature and my average CMC over 3.5 it's kinda hard to argue against.
Skullclamp - Weenie control for early game since I'm high avg CMC, but it's a gamble that it'll pop early game, so this is my second favorite to remove.
Summoning Station - Artifact synergy + weenies, esp with Mycosynth Lattice
Trading Post - Returning artifacts from GY for 1+ weenie, yes please!
Baleful Strix - Deathtouch + Semblance Anvil feed
Ethersworn Adjudicator - Flight, Direct removal, albeit expensive.
Shimmer Myr - Artifact flash? Sign me up.
I could also use some help in balancing the mana a little better. I am open to suggestions, as long as they aren't going to be shock lands and duals that will send me into poverty. Haha.But I feel that the mana balancing is my biggest issue here in making the deck playable and surviving the first 5 turns or so while everyone on the table focuses on eliminating me. If it means simply removing nonland cards in favor of lands or mana rocks to correct the curve I can entertain that notion as well.
