Mono Black Aggro (Standard)

This is an aggressive deck that aims to play lots of cheap creatures to get damage in early and then pilot vehicles later in the game to finish the job.

• Card Choices -
  Night Market Lookout is an early threat, effectively attacking for 2 every turn. But can crew vehicles late game to ping the enemy also.

Dread Wanderer and Scrapheap Scrounger have aggressive stats and are repeatable threats.

Bone Picker is an amazing card and can come down as early as turn 2. Can also come down in multiples and often runs away with the game.

Gifted Aetherborn is just a great card and can be used to both remove big threats and/or gain some life back.

Fatal Push and Walk the Plank make up the removal for this deck. Both are cheap to cast and can deal with most threats.
There is one copy of Vraska's Contempt in the side board to come in when needed.

Glint-Sleeve Siphoner and Ruin Raider are mainly in for card draw but can also get in some good damage.
Most cards have a fairly low cost which helps counteract the negative of Ruin Raider, the worst being Bone Picker at 4.

Gonti's Machinations is in for some extra reach but also combos with Glint-Sleeve Siphoner to ensure energy is available.
Ruin Raider and Ifnir Deadlands can also trigger it on your turn.

Supernatural Stamina is a good card but can be easy to play around so it can be a good idea to board it out for game 2.

Vehicles get some big stats on the board early but also provide a resilient threat as they are immune to most sweepers.
I have opted for more Aethersphere Harvester over Heart of Kiran as the lifelink can make a huge difference in race conditions.
Having multiple Heart of Kiran in hand can be bad also.

  Aggro: -2 Supernatural Stamina, -2 Ruin Raider, +1 Gonti's Machinations, +1 Aethersphere Harvester, +2 Fourth Bridge Prowler
  Midrange: -2 Supernatural Stamina, -1 Gonti's Machinations, +2 Harsh Scrutiny, +1 Vraska's Contempt
  Control: -4 Fatal Push, -2 Bone Picker, -2 Gifted Aetherborn, +4 Duress, +1 Aethersphere Harvester, +1 Vraska's Contempt, +2 Ruin Raider
  Special: Key to the City is for against token decks, especially thopters.
