Enraged Dinos (Standard)

Standard Casual.

Big enraged bodies that slam home through card advantage and massive amounts of damage.

This deck beats on Izzet and mono red all day long. You do take some hits but recover by turn 3 and stabilize by turn 4.

Been enjoying this on MTGA for a couple of evenings now. Saw an infinite polyraptor combo which got me thinking about enrage. I didn't have polyraptor and didn't want to waste wild cards on a casual build but busting packs or redemptions for other parts for other decks I was able to build out at 0 redemptions.

It wins against all the current meta. How you beat control is really a matter of playing around counters, settle and sweepers. It can be done. But for causal play when they bust me down to 1 or 2 cards in hand and drop Tefferi I just move on to the next game. Not that you can't win, I just hate watching one person play the game essentially alone while you get a poke here and there in. control turns take terribly long when they leave mana up you simply drop a land pass waiting for openings. Then they go through a 3 minute turn and you drop a land and pass. Real fun. Hate that in the current meta.

I would like to just say that Needletooth Raptor has been sorely overlooked. Drop him and people do not want to damage it. Red burn won't touch it. They won't attack into. I can often trade it up and get 2 for 1 with it - more often than not. The only way around is to use a precious Vraska's Contempt or Murder. I often attack into much larger creatures knowning that if they block with lethal something dies on their side. Most of the time I get in that extra 2, 4, 6 and sometimes 8 damage with them. They are quite awesome. And savage stomp can be quite fun as well pumping and eliminating something much larger or getting rid of 2 main threats allowing your boys to ramble through. I've had a ton of fun playing this deck and various versions of it. G/R can be quite effective too!!
