To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Hey once again a new brew fresh outta my lab, though I got heavy inspiration from the guys of the Command Zone Youtube Channel this time.
As always let us analyze our Commander first.
Blue Red so far so decent 4/4 not bad 6 mana ok and the... wait what? A 6CMC COMMANDER??? How are we going to make that work? Insanity struck you big time with this one huh? Well it is hard I'll give you that but let's keep going. Brudiclad, Techlor Engineer is an Artifact Creature with several abilities: Your Creature Tokens get haste and at the beginning of combat you create a 2/1 myr and after that you may pick a token on your board and turn all your other tokens into that specific token.
So preferably you should at least agree with some ot the following statements but they're by no means a fixed answer if you want to play this build for brudiclad.
You'll probably like it if:
Big boards are your thing
You like loooots of artifacts
You want to win with one flashy turn building up the whole game
Be rather focused on your own gameplan
Less interaction
A more relaxed and casual aproach to edh
You won't like this deck if:
You dislike the idea of insta loosing against artifact mass removal
Artifact ramp
Keeping track of tons of permanents
Complicated win conditions
Comboing
The general strategy is to put a couple of small tokens onto the battlefield early in the game then you want to put one big token onto the field and win in one flashy turn. So you can turn all your tokens into a big creature or thopters or treasures and they stay that way. We have a couple big creatures in the deck with a couple cards that copy thoose big creatures. It sound simple but it gets akward really fast. Playing a few small dudes ok fine then untaping and playing something bigger well okay fine theeeen untaping with that again and casting the copy spell and also your commander not including the possibility of counterspells and instant removal. I sound like trying to get you away from the deck right? But I build and bought it myself so it cannot be that bad!
I have to be honest I love this guy he is so different and hidden complex it is overwhelmingly refreshing, and he actually is strong if your decision making is on par with him.
This commander requires you to stick to your premade gameplan and pay very close attention to the actions of your opponents, you want to consider their options at all times and stay on your toes waiting for your opportunity to close the game without anybody expecting it. Pulling that off is so rewarding and fun it's amazing.
I recomend this deck to anybody who wants a totally different experience with edh and wants to improve his general edh skills and decision making.
You feel every mistake you make in this deck like being overly greedy or missing your chance to be greedy!
I hope you enjoy the deck it actually is one of my cheaper decks you can cut the volcanic island, mox diamond on top of my head and the price tag goes down big time already.
So share your opinion and have fun playing edh with your buddies
