Scavenge of the Golgari (Standard)

the core cards of this deck are "jarad, golgari lich lord" and "corpsejack menace", the core ability is scavenge and jarad's damage by sacrificing other creatures, so i tried to get all the creatures into the deck whose mana costs (aswell for getting them onto the battlefield and the costs for scavenging) are not too high. so your first aim should be to get a good mana base, then get some creatures with scavenge on your graveyard in order to pump up some fat creature which could then be sacrificed by jarad and directly defeat your opponents.

in addition to that, i tried to get some creatures in it which either get counters theirselves (primordial hydra) or seem to be good blockers for the early game (sluiceway scorpion which has deathtouch and scavenge, so it's a must-have in this deck, axebane guardian is also some good mana-source and deadly recluse protect you from flying creatures).
finally, spells like "fog" or "plummet" are there to save your hitpoints when you temporary run out of creatures.
for the mana rampup, i chose the opportunity to pick out my guild gates quickly with the gatecreeper vines and the axebane guardians help to push the mana aswell.
