To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
I mixed some decks I saw across te web since it's my first EDH deck. I focused on life gain/draw and cards which benefit from life gain and card advantage.
There are at least five main win conditions:
Pretty straightforward, you have a ton of life, let's turn this into a giant creature. It doesn't fly, so I'm considering adding Gift of Orzhova after playtests if Serra Avatar happen not to do the job.
Straightforward as well, your opponents let him alone a single turn and you win. Curator's Ward would be a great addition in order to win with this creature. So is Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir which can let you flash in Felidar Sovereign and win out of nowere aside from protecting you from instants.
Did I say my win conditions were straightforward ? :-) Pay 50 life: take a player down.
I bet it's a bit odd to see it in this deck, but it has everything I want: it makes you gain 7 life (often way more because of extort or other permanents), it possibly damages your opponents if you have Sanguine Bond or activated Vizkopa Guildmage 's last ability, then you may win the game quickly thanks to all the card draw we have. If I want to focus more on this win condition because it can be more efficient (no killable permanent needed to win), I may add a Ipnu Rivulet and card draw in order to get back Approach as soon as possible. In its current state, we already have a good way to draw it in like two turns (which can be risky if not well prepared).
All these win conditions need to be set up, so keep in mind that you'll become the whole table's target when you play any of them. You can optimize some of them by adding some cards that I mentioned, but the really one that I'm gonna consider is Avacyn, Angel of Hope since it makes every wincond more reliable. But have a lot of protections to face this situation, first you have a ton of life, spells like propaganda. Try to take your time to set your board up and not grow to much hate from your opponents, this way you'll can keep your removals to protect your win conds. Use your orator skills to make your opponents remember not to spend all their ressources on killing you when you play your 4 main win conds ;-)
If you manage to come to a huge amount of life, just cast it and you gain an army of little 1/1 pegasus. You can beef this win cond up by adding a Quicken to cast it right before your turn when it won't be countered and when your opponents don't have the mana for a wrath. Plus you can attack with your army right after they appear, so it is an addition to consider.
We can't rely only on the four big win conditions.
It is one of the bests cards in the deck, since we have a LOOOT of life gain, and that we can gain a big burst of life.
Combine it with Beacon of Immortality, Debt to the deathless, Exsanguinate, or even with your "each turn life gain" that comes with Oloro (often doubled thanks to Rhox Faithmender, Boon reflection, Paradox Haze...) and your cards with extort.
