To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Most of my decks are mono-white, and this may be my favorite of the bunch. It's very simple & strong but not cruel.
Keep the other players off balance at the right moments with Wrath-like effects--there are 16 of them--until you can get Avacyn onto the battlefield. The only truly dickish thing you might be able to pull off with this deck is the following: if you happen to have Avacyn and either Nevinyrral's Disk or Magus of the Disk in play at the same time, you can destroy all your opponents’ non-land, non-planeswalker permanents during each of your turns. It rarely happens because the other players will see it coming, but it's something to aim for. Originally, I tried that trick with Worldslayer, but it's too slow.
Angel tribal decks like this usually run Herald of War, but I felt like it arrived to the party too late to make a difference. Herald's Horn, Urza's Incubator, Oketra's Monument, Pearl Medallion, Caged Sun, Extraplanar Lens, Gauntlet of Power, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx are already providing plenty of assistance.
NOTE! I also removed Iona, Shield of Emeria and Armageddon from the deck. Yes, those two cards are brutal and work great in this deck, but if you choose to run them, you will have failed a test of character and made a conscious decision to play cards which you knew would shut players out of the game. Congratulations! You won the game but now no one wants to play with you, everyone hates you and your deck, and you deserve it for being a terrible ambassador of the game you profess to love.
