The goal is to survive until I can get Axis of Mortality out. While we manage to stay alive, the goal needs to be to lose as much life as possible. This can be made easier with Phyrexian Unlife, because we don't die for being at 0. We lose life because of Adanto Vanguard's ability, shocking ourselves, Carrion Howler's ability, thoughtseizing, taking hits and using the special but dangerous card Murderous Betrayal. Once axis of mortality is out, your opponent has one turn to stop you before you switch life totals up and victory is yours. If you can't get the card out, Carrion Howler can buff itself to a 6-1 and you have removal to help it get through. Adanto Vanguard should help keep you safe until you get Axis or Tutor, this is considering you can get Phyrexian Unlife out first. Your big bomb is Dire Fleet Ravager who can help you with losing life and be a beast of a creature.

Sideboard is typical stuff, Inqusitions for control, Pithing Needle and Surgical Extraction for specific decks, Relics for graveyard hate, Leyline, Prison and Consuls for Aggro decks.

This is not that good of deck, but I think it is fun. I am debating whether Carrion Howler works in this deck, but it's worth trying him out.
