Deck # 21: The Sundown Crew (Standard)

A band of pirates known as The Sundown Crew because of the colors of red and black, were assigned to follow Dr. Moriarty back to England, kill her, and steal her secrets. They were defeated by her many, many mutants, and were promptly captured.

To their surprise, Kylie healed them with her medical skills - after taking them captive. Doctor Moriarty just couldn't leave bad enough alone. She wanted revenge, so she gave them a new contract, one which included their souls so it could never be overridden, to go back and kill whomever it was that sent them to kill her. She did not keep their souls, nor snatch them. Instead, to ensure compliance with her will, Kylie gave her clone of The Scorpion God ownership of the pirates' souls. It's not every day a god can become the king of his own pirate ship. Now the pirates must do as Kylie commands, for The Scorpion God owns their souls and he is traveling with them as the new captain.

To bribe them further, Kylie created four Prying Blades so the pirates would have an abundance of what they want most - treasure, and would always remember the doctor who gave them this blessing. Then the pirates are returned to Ixalan. But they actually have a great ritual to complete in order to vanquish the enemy; disguised as Revel in Riches, the spell, when complete, will bring the sought after victory.

Before she left with her pirates, Kylie taught her clone of The Scorpion God the spells of Walk the Plank, Final Reward, Hour of Glory, Mutiny, and Hijack. Anyone who crosses the pirates can either be killed, or worse . . .

Now, it's on to seize Liliana, the original employer of the contract to kill Kylie.
