I'd suggest Sundial  of the Infinite for consistency. That would give you a total of 8 cards that can prevent entry effects, however Sundial would cost one more, and limit you a bit more. You'd have to play your creatures during the second main phase to give you an attack phase, so I'd suggest removing the 4 Mass Hysteria if you do decide to put Sundial in. Pretty much it's just used to clear the stack (Cast creature, creature resolves, ability triggers, activate Sundial, turn ends and the ability can't resolve.)

I'd agree about sundial of the infinite. You have a great deck, but it really relies on having those torpor orbs in your hand right away.

As alternative, there are cards with transmute for torpor's cost.

Also, Nyxathid doesn't work well with Torpor Orb.
his ability is not a trigger, it's a replacement effect, when Torpor Orbs sees it in the battlefield it's already too late for it to do anything.

Nyxathid does work because you don't have to choose an opponent AS (OR WHEN) Nyxathid ENTERS THE BATTLEFIELD, CHOOSE AN OPPONENT so you won't get a counter for every card he has in hand.

Since Torpor Orb is so key for this deck how about a diabolic tutor?

No, it does not work with torpor orb. It only block abilities from triggering - nyxathid does not have any triggered abilities.

"603.1. Triggered abilities have a trigger condition and an effect. They are written as “[Trigger
condition], [effect],” and begin with the word “when,” “whenever,” or “at.” They can also be
expressed as “[When/Whenever/At] [trigger event], [effect].”"

"603.6e Some permanents have text that reads “[This permanent] enters the battlefield with . . . ,”
“As [this permanent] enters the battlefield . . . ,” “[This permanent] enters the battlefield as . . .
,” or “[This permanent] enters the battlefield tapped.” Such text is a static ability—not a
triggered ability—whose effect occurs as part of the event that puts the permanent onto the
battlefield."
