Gruul Doubling Season/Scutemaster [Modern] Help!
« on: September 27, 2015, 08:49:35 am »
Hey Guys

I've trying to get this Gruul Doubling Season/Scutemaster deck to work, but I just can't get it to the power level I am wanting. I think its major weakness is the first 4-5 turns, and I can't think of how to improve that. I've added Nacatls, but I'm not sure if the cards exist to strengthen this deck's early game. Thoughts or help? Cheers!

Well i have an idea that may get you the results yo are looking for. IF you look towards the Gruul clans from Ravnica then they have the creatures you are looking for such as rubblehulk. Theros has the enchantments  and also in Theros the hydra creatures that are able to give themselves +1/+1 counters repeatedly! Try checking them out, I know the monstrosity will catch your eye, especially after you add some red to it.
