I cry a little every time I remember that Maze of Ith isn't modern-legal.  I love getting that card in a cube.

     So basically it's mono-white pay to play. The deck looks good to play. One thing you should consider though are some protection spells in case someone wants to steal your creatures or blow up parts of your field without attacking. If you add brave the elements and feat of resistance then this would at least give you some protection from bone splinters or doom blades.

I totally agree... I just do not own any more brave the elements at the moment.  Once I order some more Ill be sure to add them in ( i love brave the elements! haha)

It's definitely worth having. Also i think brave the sands would be good to have as well.

Not so sure about that one... cause if your playing it close then they shouldn't be attacking with more than one creature anyway.   Although the vigilance is nice.. ill run some fake hands and see how it plays.

Well the purpose is not for offense but for defense. If you play that card then each one of your creatures is able to block 2 of your opponents creatures. This keeps your creature death rate low and lets you preserve the creatures that you need the most on the board. It's a shame you're not running black in this deck, archetype of finality would have been a great combo with brave the sands. (Having white soldier tokens that have death touch that can block multiple creatures would be fun)

yes but adding those things would change the shape of the deck and I know you like multi color decks:) haha

But I want the simple goal to be" my opponent cant attack because he doesn't have enough mana, and if they can because they do have enough mana ... it will only be one creature ( and hopefully gideon can use his second ability to kill it)

So turtle style victory while you nickle and dime them down for the win.

   Crawlspace, Silent Arbiter and Ensnaring Bridge slows down the game a lot.

Fair enough. Just remember, attacking isn't the only road to victory. All it takes is some effect damage like from defiant bloodlord in a mono-black life gain deck and your goose will be cooked. Make the game expensive to play but at the same time cover your bases. Some people might use enchantment hate or play plummet on an angel and then it'd be bye-bye birdie.

That would be good eldrazi repellent for most decks. I don't understand why a lot of the vintage and legacy cards don't get new face lifts into the newer modern sets. That way the card library for modern players can grow and even more old worlds can be revisited. IF we could go to ob nixilis's world then that would be pretty cool.
