My deck is supposed to be quick. Fleecemane Lion is a great two drop no kidding but, I would have to wait three more turns to make it monstrous. It would've been gone by that time. Grove of the Guardian is also good but like Fleecemane Lion, it takes too long for its ability.

ok, i must admit that you created an perfect deck with your 8 1-mana hexproof-creatures for a 'modern' deck.
Even the 'Mother of Runes' -tactic  (Colorprotection against destruction) in a monochromatic-Deck is in my eyes not as goog as your creation!
