rise from the tides apocalypse

slow ramp, lots of discards to build graveyard total, then when time is right, use rise from the tides to unleash zombie horde. using black as a defense strat more that anything. negate to counter. murderous compulsion to weaken there defenses.

    I think that the deck can work out pretty well. If you want even more zombies though you'd probably want to do a role reversal as far as the colors go. IF you use the Blue for defense and use the black to play cards such as from under the floorboards, crow of dark tidings, rottenheart ghoul, and even diregraf colossus then you can get more zombie tokens out. Also gisa's bidding would be a good choice since it serves a dual focus.

Since you are using islands, engulf the shore would be an awesome wrath effect at instant speed to buy some time. I can see a game plan; at opponenets EoT bounce creature to hand with engulf to shore, and during your turn play Rise from the tides, since the zombies come in tapped,  plus since Its an instant it means extra zombies xD. Also maybe to the slaugther since Its also an instant creature/planswalker removal, aka extra zombie. In conclusion instant speed removal xD

You may want to look at more counter spells, since even a dual color Radiant Flames or Virulent Plague wipes your tokens and you only have 4 cards to counter them.

Add something like Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet x 1 or 2.

Run a lot of bone splinters, ultimate price, ruinous path, grasp of darkness, languish, disperse, void shatter, from under the floorboards, gisa's bidding to make tokens from their creatures, as well as having some control, and the ability to make your own tokens. Then cast your Rise from the Tides after you have stalled them out.

Liliana, heretical healer would work if you had some more creatures to back up kalitas.
