You did a good job with this deck. I like how you combine the vamps from zendikar with the zombies from innistrad. Adding cards such as shamble back and ever after would be good choices as well.

Thank you! I have those cards, but they are in my zombie deck so I'm reluctant to take them out lest I forget to put them back in before I play a standard event.  :-[ I think shamble back is in the commander but I know I only have one copy of ever after.

I think that they're pretty easy to come across. Not that many people are playing Zombie decks surprisingly (depends on the meta of course).

I'll ask around at my shop this Friday and see if anyone has any!

Thanks! I will get some cards online if they don't have any at the shop I go to or if there isn't anyone at FNM who wants to trade or gift some to me for free!

Sometimes you'll meet those people who either have more than they need or just want to unload some cards. Occasionally someone will pass it forward. I once had a guy just give me an altered ego because I needed it. He was a cool dude.

Alright, in a previous forum topic we discussed playing EDH Commander decks. I would love to build one now except I have no idea what I'm doing. I want to base the deck around Sheoldred, Whispering One. I happen to have a copy of her laying around and I really love that card.

So what do I need to do to get started? I'm thinking about running mono black and playing just the grossest most black style possible. I'm thinking undead, infect, graveyard digging, swampwalk, sacrifices, and all the things that make black decks evil and awesome.

Help and advice on how to do this?

this is my Sheoldred deck. It uses a Reanimation strategy to win
