I've tried the deck and i think it's worth. Watch your opponent die without attack it's funny. The only card I don't like too much is Alhammarret's Archive, I don't think give you much value.

Hi liquid90, I'm glad to hear you are enjoying this deck, and thanks for commenting.

I understand you entirely, but I enjoy playing with Alhammarret's Archive because it usually allows me to completely bm my opponent which is always fun. If you don't find it too useful or would rather not play it, may I suggest adding a Read The Bones or another Lantern Scout to replace it.

If you have any other ideas on how to improve this deck, please let me know, I would love to hear them.

I see. I like Ob, card draw and removal effect is good. Don't like to much that enchantement, and Ayli is so good, cause u can sacrifice your creature gain life and trigger some of your creature abilities. Have u consider Ally Encampment? Help to cast your ally also u can save them from enemy removal. I will also change the sideboard do you consider Eerie Interlude? Let me know what u think

I do agree that Retreat to Hagra might not be the best card, I just sort of threw it in as it's another life draining card. However I'm going to stick by my decision to remove Ayli from the deck. I have played with Ayli many times in this deck and I have found her to be fairly useless. Yes, she can sacrifice a creature and you can trigger a few effects, however I have not found this to be too effective and she ends up just being a 2/3 with deathtouch. She is also not an ally so she doesn't trigger any of the other rally abilities.

I like the look of Eerie Interlude though and I will try and work that into the deck, as well as the same for Ally Encampment (which I will probably replace Caves of Koilos with when it leaves standard).

Thanks for your feedback! If you have any other thoughts please let me know.

I've been playing my own brew of BW Life Gain (https://deckstats.net/decks/48703/419775-b-w-ally-vampire-life-drain/es) and I will tell you some things I pick up from using it. The deck doesn't attack, kalastria healer, zulaport, evangel, etc can't attack because they get killed and you then you loose the abilities. Since the point I just made, Lantern is not good, because it triggers lifelink (awesome) but since you normally can't attack because your creatures are very little, you don't use the ability. I would think putting Ayli in, she is awesome, they try to kill a creature? Sacrifice it and gain some life. Also she is an excellent blocker since she is a 2/3 deathtouch for just BW.

Hi Daku, I've had a look at your deck and taken some inspiration from it in applying the changes you mentioned in regards to Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim and Lantern Scout. Taking what you said into account, I have removed all copies of Lantern Scout and Drana, Liberator of Malakir (mainly because she's too expensive and suffers from similar problems to Lantern Scout), and replacing them with copies of Bloodbond Vampire and Vampire Envoy (I've had to tweak the amount of other creatures as well).

I'm waiting on a few cards to arrive for this deck, but once they get here I'll do a bit of play testing and let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the feedback, if you have any other suggestions, feel free to let me know!

Do you think Campaign of Vengeance would be a good addition from EMN?

Hi GaugeGuy, personally I won't be playing this card in this deck. As Daku mentioned, you're not really attacking with creatures in this deck, you're instead keeping them on the field and making the most of their abilities. Also for 5 mana, it's really quite expensive for what it does.

If you really do want to play it though, I would recommend you only play up to two copies and see how it goes.

Panharmonicon looks terrible to me. It's 4 mana, doesn't advance your game when it comes down, and the only thing it even does for you is double up on future Kalastria Healer triggers. You're better off with even something as basic as Oath of Gideon. But what you really want is Transgress the Mind to take out sweepers.
