You can not cast Ultimate Price with Noxious Gearhulk on the stack and have Ultimate Price target Noxious Gearhulk.  Noxious Gearhulk is a spell while it is on the stack so it can only be the target of spells that target spells like Mana Leak or Horribly Awry.  If you want to remove Noxious Gearhulk after it has entered the battlefield that is fine but the ETB trigger still goes off and resolves.  The trigger does not require Noxious Gearhulk to be on the battlefield to resolve.

In your case Archangel Avacyn ETB trigger had yet to resolve so your creatures were not indestructible until after the trigger resolves.

Apologies I made a mistake, the comparison with Ultimate Price was not a correct one, but you are right it does still trigger.

Key to the City is useful to trigger madness and make something unblockable (Incorrigible Youths) during your upkeep you get to draw an additional card... If you wanted.
With cards like Unwinding Clock and Icy Manipulator, presents some possibilities...

I think red is finally going to become a staple and/or used more. Then the energy being stored and used when needed will be a thing.

Urgh that's disgusting... you can ultimate Nissa, Vital Force and keep her alive in a single turn with that combination.
