When I played red-green ramp, omnath, locus of rage did me VERY well. A really good card to drop quickly. Things like blighted woodland and nissa, vastwood seer work real good with him. Drop him and load your self with as many lands as you possibly can. Also, llanowar elves can be helpful for more one drops.
