Old Times

This was one of my original decks, back in the 90s when I was in middle school.  My friends HATED the deck, because they didn't feel safe attacking with The Wretched because they didn't realize the effect only occured when they blocked it.  Of course, lure forced them to block it and regeneration and bubble matrix kept it alive!

Absolutely fun to play!  I had a green white varient for it focused around Kjeldoran Frostbeast and Thicket Basilisk.  It's. A shame lure is out of standard!

An easy update will be Maze of Ith, that stays in the oldies' mood.
Another good card that deserves attention is Pernicious Deed.

Maze of Ith would definately make a mean way to have a potential  turn 3 total takeover of the combat field (the deck has had turn 2 The Wretched on occasion).  Pernicious deed might make a goid sideboard card... Most of the time, it would wreck the armies the deck steals.
