Cloak and Dagger

hopefully a simple question that i can't find a clear ruling for.

Can an artifact like cloak and dagger , that gives a creature the shroud ability, be the target of target destroy target artifact?  Or is the artifact itself covered by the shroud ability?

yes anything that grants shroud, hexproof, protection etc can be targetd and affected by removal spells unless the target in question also has an ability protecting it.
