Why Battle at the Bridge main deck instead of the Grasp of Darkness?

 Yes, you could use grasp of darkness as well but with battle at the bridge you gain life and it this gives you more time, moreover if you are in late game you will probably need a stronger removal than -4/-4. Battle at the bridge is also coherent with the idea of the deck because you can use your artifacts to cast. In addition, grasp can be used in Standard for a very short time.
