I could really use some advice about the mana base. I have never splashed a 2nd color with
 this few cards.

I think all the artifacts will help make mana needs more forgiving with all the colorless. To your point, you got 68% colorless costs, 24% black, and 8% red. Or, when you will need colored mana, you will need black 3 times as much as red. Thats a good base to start from when planning on building sources. Also, you don't need double red in any of your spells, so that helps a lot. Treasure map will help out as well. As you have it, my gut says it is a little heavy on red sources, but only a little. Leaning a little more towards black will also help with BB casting costs.

Marionette master maybe a nice 2ndary win condition from sideboard.

THanks for the ideas. I am wondering if there is a way to use this deck's lower colored mana costs to boost my mana a bit. Maybe there iss a card that just gives colorless that can speed me up. casting Herald or Ribbons is the finisher, so having a few extra colorless mana at the end is a good thing. I'm thinking that i have to git the spells right b4 I spend any precious brain power on mana trickeration...

Like maybe a few deserts or cycling lands, bring my lands up to 22. Theres a desert that will convert color.

You should update this to the current version. I think you cut pia's revolution for sword point diplomacy.

People aren't prepared for that card. I'm pretty sure I played it wrong. Took the damage most often to keep you from getting resources, but with ribbons in the graveyard, your opponent can't afford to do that too often. I died to that quasi-combo both games, despite having the more dominant board state.

Nice deck plan; same day I saw you use this deck to beat a panharmonicon/etb=lifegain deck. The opponent was gobsmacked losing after gaining about 40 life throughout the game.

I updated to current version. I am still not sure about filligree familiar. Is there a RIvals card that would be better? or do more scroungers?
