draw to death

Force my opponent to draw cards, discard and lose life from it with Spiteful Visions and Liliana's Caress. using Colfenor's plans to avoid my draw step. if i get out the howling mines or Font of mythos

so the question is would howling mines and font f mythos have better replacements?
