Just read your desc again. I would not go with less creatures. Depending how the cards fall, some games you may need some defense/chump blockers before your removal engine gets chugging along.

I also looked through the list, and noticed 20 sorceries... yet another list that might benefit from running the Vedalken Orrery.

actually in my meta all control based run less then 5 creatures and go all in with commander as win con, I'll test like this and eventually make changes. Vedalken Orrery is pretty good and I'll evaluate that but I don't like to run too many artifacts and I already have Defense Grid
