Goblin Electromancer and Primal Amulet would be a great addition, cheaper spells = more spell = more pew pew.
Firemind's Research  synergieses great with casting  a lot of spells.
Use some counter spells to protect your stuff from threads.

Gleaming Barrier is good early blocker and gives you a treasure token, Hornswoggle great counterspell and gives you a treasure token too, Pirate's Prize draws you cards and gives you treasure tokens too. The treasure token gives you mana for your where you ham with storm.

Great deck idea !

I absolutely agree with all your points, its just  most of them already have equivalents in the deck.

Gleaming Barrier's is replaced with Electrostatic Field.
Pirate's Prize is replaced with Pirate's Pillage.
Counterspells are iffy, for the sole reason that they're dead cards when you're storming. Expansion // Explosion works as a psuedo-counter to protect Thousand-Year Storm, as you can copy a counterspell on the stack to counter it.
Firemind's Research is a little slow, and I'd rather just have Radical Ideas to quickly dig through the deck.

All of the suggestions could easily be substituted in, especially Goblin Electromancer and Primal Amulet (I didn't because they're not instants/sorceries, and more of those also = more pew pew). It's just a matter of personal preference.

Thank you very much for the input~
