Karlov of the Ghost Council is a good and versatile orzhov legendary creature, thanks to its triggered and activated abilities.

The idea around this list is using Karlov as possible finisher while moving midrange playing powerful enchantment and playing around lifegain.

To keep Karlov growing we have a bunch of useful gain life cards, like Pristine Talisman, Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Obzedat, Ghost Council and so on, along cards that can gain us some life but with little to none others upside.

With those new life, we can easly play cards that cost life like Bitterblossom or Phyrexian Arena, but we can also win the game plaing safely and dropping Felidar Sovereign or Test of Endurance.

Beside that and Debt to the Deathless and Exsanguinate, pretty straightforward, we can combo off with the usual Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond, where we can run Cliffhaven Vampire and Vizkopa Guildmage for more consistancy, or with Aetherflux Reservoir, Sensei's Divining Top and the new add Bolas's Citadel.

If we want to keep Karlov growing even more, we can count on Sunbond, Felidar Umbra or Cradle of Vitality and cosidering that in all those cards we got a good bunch of enchantment, we can consider using tutors like Enlightened Tutor, Idyllic Tutor and even Open the Armory. Consider that Trespasser's Curse, Faith's Fetters, Felidar Umbra and, most of all, Overwhelming Splendor are Auras!

Player as a midrange lifegain commander, Karlov of the Ghost Council is pretty customizable, considering the huge number of cards to gain life in those colors, while its theme can be easly interchangeable according to our taste.

Karlov of the Ghost Council è una creatura leggendaria Orzhov forte e versatile, grazie alla sua abilità innescata e abilità attivata.

L'idea attorno a questa lista è quella di usare Karlov come possibile finisher mentre ci destreggiamo come midrange giocando incantesimi d'impatto e giocato attorno al guadagnare punti vita.

Per far crescere costantemente Karlov abbiamo una manciata di carte utili che guadagnano punti vita, come Pristine Talisman, Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Obzedat, Ghost Council e così via, assime e a carte che ci guadagnano solo punti vita ma con nessuno o piccolo altro effetto.

Con questi punti vita, possiamo facilmente giocare carte che ce ne costano alcuni come  Bitterblossom o Phyrexian Arena, ma possiamo anche vincere la partita giocando con cautela e affidandoci a Felidar Sovereign o Test of Endurance.

A parte queste e Debt to the Deathless e Exsanguinate, piuttosto dirette, possiamo scombare con la classica Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond, dove possiamo giocare Cliffhaven Vampire e Vizkopa Guildmage per maggior consistenza, o con Aetherflux Reservoir, Sensei's Divining Top e la nuova aggiunta Bolas's Citadel.

Se volessimo far crescere ulteriormente Karlov, possiamo fare affidamento su Sunbond, Felidar Umbra o Cradle of Vitality e considerando che molte delle nostre carte importanti sono Incantesimi, possiamo usare tutori come Enlightened Tutor, Idyllic Tutor e anche Open the Armory. Cosnidera che Trespasser's Curse, Faith's Fetters, Felidar Umbra e, soprattutto, Overwhelming Splendor sono Aura!

Giocato midrange e lifegain, Karlov of the Ghost Council è piuttosto personalizzabile, considerando l'enorme numero di carte per guadagnare punti vita in questi colori, mentre il tema può facilmente essere intercambiabile in base al nostro gusto.
