58 lands and only one Jace and one Mana Severance? No tutor that let you find the cards? Nothing to defende your self until yo draw the cards of the comb? Good luck drawing the 2 cards of the comb before turn 30. In turn 10, you have a 7.7% to draw both cards. Play against this deck is like play against a wall. Winrate 0%. If you play against aggro, in turn 4 or 5 they win. If you play against midrange, in turn 6 or 7 they win. If you play against control.... Negate / Absorb or othe counter to Jace and they win.


The best thing is 6 people that likes this deck. 6 people that never played MTG before or it seems.

I think not doing anything until turn 6 is pretty risky in this format. I'd recommend playing creatures that draw you cards and cards like Foresight and Manipulate Fate that will let you build a board state to pretend like you're a real deck, and some cantrips that way you can thin your deck a lot more aggressively and still run like 15-20 non land cards in the deck and still be able to deck yourself by turn 6 when you combo out.

Njoker is correct, both Jace and Mana Severance start in the command zone in Oathbreaker, and this deck either wins or loses on turn 6, depending on if your opponenet has a counterspell.

Ok this is my review, for what I see Oathbreaker is a new format and it's similar to commander but instead of 100 card deck you use 60 card deck in which you can't repeat any cards like commander with the commodity of having a signature spell at your disposal in the command zone with your Oathbreaker.

In this particular deck the idea is simple and straight forward that will win or lose at turn 6 but like every thing it has a weak link in this case no  means of any defense or counter react to, so an agro deck with a low mana average will win against you, midrange has a good winning chance depending on mana average and "theme" and any deck that is heavy in it's mana average and need more than 6 turn to win will have low winning chances. Attack any turn without any remorse since there is no creatures there to block them plus instants and sorceries turn 6 will be to long to wait for your win condition, 20 life points probably won't last that long.

But your point is clear I understand what you mean.

You don't even need a counterspell. You just need to be able to deal 4 damage to Jace in response to Mana severance being cast and then you basically win. Now they have to spend 10 Mana to attempt the combo again.
