Do you really need that much lands? I understand that you want to get high amounts of mana for some stuff, but with your ramp package, you should be able to cut like 5 lands without losing that much momentum.

Do you have any other advices for building a Mono red Deck?

uff.. thats a good question. Mono R isn't that good for Commander, since many burn tactics doesn't work in multiplayer with a higher life pool. But don't get disapointed here, as long as you have fun with your deck, its fine.

for future advices, it would be interesting to hear how the deck performs in your playgroup and what makes trouble.


Okay, nevermind, I've already got some advices:

Neheb, the Eternal could be interesting for your deck. with cards like Aggravated Assault he could allow you to finish off the game with endless combat steps.

Insurrection could be replaced with Mass Munity or Mob Rule. Both are a little more restricted with the targets, but cheaper.

I assume you know the combo with Godo, Bandit Warlord + Helm of the Host, right?

Since you want to play with your opponents decks, what about Stolen Strategy?

Another haste enabler like Fervor or Mass Hysteria could also be interesting.
