/edit: damn. first think then complain. the fact that witch's oven needs to be tapped prevents an endless combo. still it might be an interesting life drain for standart.

Yap, without a third combo piece there is no infinite drain. In a build with many untap-effects (maybe in an UB deck) that might do some good work, though.

Here's a little brew I made after the reveal of Cauldron Familiar. It had Manifold key to untap the Oven, but it felt too clonky. It's probably better to draw more cards and get more ovens going

Nice idea using a Mardu-Aristocrats build. Since the food-tokens gain you life it might be worth trying a build with 4 or 8 Pridemates.

I can't tell if this is better than Bloom Tender. The downside, this one is three mana. Upside, it already taps for two mana.
